Role Purpose
The HR|Legal Administrative Assistant provides broad HR and legal support to
the HR|Legal team, company, and employees by building relationships and
being knowledgeable on various HR and legal functions.
Responsibilities
– Build a relationship with each employee
– Have a team player attitude
– Prioritize confidentiality
– Assist with employee birthday, anniversary, and award
recognition
Company Culture
– Help create a positive work environment
– Provide amenities for employees
– Find ways to improve the employee experience
Event Planning and Travel
– Assist with the planning of all company events
– Coordinate with applicable departments on events as assigned
– Book employee travel when assigned
Onboarding & Employee Management
– Guide new employees through portions of the onboarding
process as assigned
– Be a resource to employees
– Assist with the maintenance of employee records]
Office Management
– Assist with office supply and equipment ordering and usage
– Maintain organization procedures throughout office
– Ensure the office is tidy and free from clutter
– Reset specific spaces as needed
– Manage collect of and disbursement of mail and packages
– Manage general email inbox
Facilities Management
– Assist with the maintenance of the office space
– Develop a positive relationship with property managers
– Assist with functional utilization of the office space
Legal Assisting
– Have a general understanding of company legal agreements
– Assist employees with legal agreement needs
– Contribute to the organization of legal materials
– Manage the tracking and payment of legal fees when assigned
Employee Amenity Implementation
– Ensure the kitchen, fridges, and snack baskets are always
stocked, neat, and organized
– Manage the ordering, receiving, and organization of Costco
orders
– Manage any catering needs including weekly Monday lunches
General Assisting
– Run errands as needed
– Provide general assisting to all members of HR|Legal team
– Contribute to the team by receiving and relaying feedback
– Notice areas of need and fill those needs
